if someone can't really work remotely due to the type of work they do, can their employer tell them they need to use any remaining vacation days in order to get paid
NJ - person is a non-essential person at an essential company (hospital) and can easily work remotely. Company wants me there "in case". I am constantly exposed to people with the virus, and am concerned. Can I require them to let me work remotely??
If someone is paid per hour and considered "part time hourly" (but NOT an independent contractor) and normally has guaranteed paid hours, are they entitled to unemployment? or is it only for "full time salaried" employees?

I believe you mentioned that NY gives you 5 additional sick leave days, besides from the general sick leave you receive from your employer. If you use your covid-19 sick leave before april 1st, do you get 10 additional days of sick leave from the federal govt?
