This is an improver level class for students who have the foundations of a yoga practice. Usually six months of regular practice in the last two years.
Classes build on the fundamental elements of classical hatha yoga, to deepen and develop your existing practice. Classes include asana, pranayama, mudra, mantra and end with the guided deep relaxation practice of yoga nidra.
This class is a lovely way to deepen your practice. Posture work is slow, mindful and deeply connected to the breath. Pranayama and pratyahara (sense withdrawal) are an integral part of the experience, reconnecting you to your still centre.
New students, in good health, may join this class.
Classes are taught by Claire Thomas, a Satyananda trained yoga teacher. Claire has been teaching yoga since 2005, her style is light and accessible to all.
